Newspring is holding a fine art exhibition for advanced alumni of our art program. The event will feature a collection of the most enthralling young new artists cultivated by Newspring. This is the best of the best, presented by a professional art gallery. The artwork will be available for purchase by collectors. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Newspring artists.
Your participation in this event is welcome! A group of community leaders known as the Art Discovery Committee is helping guide the event, including Catherine Anspon, Deborah Treviño Porter, Patricia Bruni, David Brown, Gabriel Diego Delgado, Elina Htun, Scott Peveto, and Allison Gower. Underwriters include PitchKits, Art In Dimensions, Frank Comiskey Insurance Agency, and The Platform Group Gallery, among others. "Define The Future" is being curated by Brent Bruni Comiskey.
A selection of professional artist are donating works to be sold in a silent auction for the benefit of the Newspring Art Studio. Other treats during the event will include a silent auction of wonderful gift items, an interactive art piece for attendees to collaborate with, complimentary beverages, and light hors d'oeuvres.
Newspring is a faith-based non-profit organization in the Spring Branch area of Houston that assists the community via education and resources in art and business development to encourage productivity and sustainability in life for students and families.
