To kick off the newly-minted Artist Project section at this year's Verge Miami Beach, all artists who complete their application by this Sunday, June 10 will be registered into a competition to receive free roundtrip airfare and accomodations to and from this year's Verge Art Fair Miami Beach.* (CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR AN ARTIST PROJECT SPACE). For its fourth annual Miami Beach installment, Verge returns to the 45-room Greenview Hotel on Washington Avenue, located one block from Art Basel at the Miami Beach Convention Center. DEADLINE TO ENTER: JUNE 10.

An affordable option for artists looking for exposure and visibility to both galleries and visitors to the fair, and vetted to ensure the freshest work, the Artist Project section at Verge Miami Beach will showcase the cutting edge.

THE FOURTH ANNUAL VERGE ART MIAMI BEACH: EARLY GALLERY APPLICATION RATE $3,500 WITH FREE FURNITURE REMOVAL AND PREMIUM PLACEMENT
VERGE Art Fair Miami Beach is proud to announce its early application, offering the lowest standard rate for galleries to participate among all the Miami Beach fairs. Each gallery exhibitor with Verge will receive a roughly 350 sq ft room with free furniture removal, transforming these spacious rooms into a readymade white cube exhibition space. Apply BEFORE June 15 and the rate is only $3,500 (less a $500 deposit) and your gallery will also go to the front of the line for Premium Placement within the fair. Verge has mapped out an aggressive marketing plan that will include prominently displayed street banners throughout Miami Beach, street teams distributing handbills, display ads in The Miami New Times, Art In America, Miami Art Guide, and announcements with Art Nexus, Re-Title.com and VANlist, among others. Many advertising deadlines for this period fall on July 15 and optimization of the 2012 marketing strategy relies upon meeting these deadlines. Only exhibitors whose applications are received by July 15 will be included in advanced marketing efforts for Verge Miami Beach 2012.
