Art Car Weekend is the Orange Show's biggest outreach program, a vehicle for the message that art is an integral part of everyone's everyday life. The weekend's events are:
Part folk art, part fine art, part wholly artistic expression of every kind, entirely monumental and thoroughly spectacular!
The Houston Art Car Parade is produced by the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art, at 501.c3 non-profit art foundation. As Houston's largest free public art event, the parade and all Art Car Weekend events would not be possible without generous help from corporate sponsors, foundation grants, in-kind donations and individual giving.
