Graphic Design Internship
AMOA-Arthouse internships are ideal for expanding one’s understanding of the functions of contemporary art spaces and non-profit organizations, as well as a great way to become an active part of the visual arts community in Austin.
AMOA-Arthouse seeks an upper-level student intern who is creative, reliable, has excellent attention to detail, and has a proficient knowledge of print and web design software (mainly Adobe Creative Suite). This internship is located at The Jones Center.
We require 15-20 hours per week and will work around school schedules. The intern will work one-on-one with the lead designer to complete projects ranging from ad design, museum printed materials and signage, digital newsletters to web design. This internship is NOT an errand-running, coffee-making or studio-cleaning internship, so come ready to produce real-world work.
Prospective interns should meet the following qualifications:
• A strong interest in contemporary art, issues and visual culture
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Be a creative thinker
• Submit at least five samples of previous work
