FotoFun 2013 Needs you!
Greetings!
FotoFest – Literacy through Photography seeks responsible yet fun people to volunteer for our FotoFun 2013 volunteer nights. Literacy Through Photography (LTP) is the in-school education program created by FotoFest International to help students in grades 3-12 strengthen basic learning skills, particularly writing and critical thinking skills. It is a comprehensive program that includes curriculum and teacher training. LTP uses photography and visual imagery as tools to stimulate students’ writing, analytic abilities and communication skills. FotoFun 2013 is LTP’s sole fundraiser that helps raise the funds that we need to keep our program in the Houston area school. This year’s theme will be Through the Lens, it will be an exploration of Fairy tales and Folklore from around the world. We need you to help us make decorations and help developing the crafts that children will be making the day of the event.
The following dates are the days that we need volunteers, it will be from 6-8:30PM and food will be provided.
