From our national call for abstract art, we are excited to present a group show featuring 16 artists. The show was juried, artists’ names removed, and we received work from all over the country (and outside as well: Dubai, Canada, Argentina, Taiwan.) Ironically, 13 artists are from Texas, with 6 making their home in Austin, which just goes to prove our point that there is AMAZING work being created here.

The show runs the gamut from pieces so abstract that the only references to subject are in the name to representational pieces rendered in a way that becomes abstract.

The artists: Bobbye Bennett (Houston, TX), Debbie Buie (Austin, TX), Rachelle Diaz (Austin, TX), C. Ellen Hart (Houston, TX), Chrys Grummert (Austin, TX), Gabe Langholtz (Austin, TX), Court Lurie (Austin, TX), Melanie Millar (Houston, TX), Chandana Paravastu (Houston, TX), Gwen Plunkett (Houston, Texas), William Ruller (Savannah, GA), Bill Santelli (Rochester, NY), Briana Sutton (Mineola, TX), Daniel J. Victor (New York, NY), Lana Waldrep (Austin, TX) and Dawn Winter (Austin, TX)
