Calling All Art Angles Volunteers
It's time for the
BAYOU CITY ARTS FESTIVAL 2012!
Greetings!
It's that time of year again and MOCAH needs your SUPPORT to assist with filling our volunteer needs to support the 42th Anniversary Capital One Bayou City Arts Festival- Downtown.
Help us achieve the acknowledgement of the Most Outstanding Non-Profit Partner at the Bayou City Arts Festival- Downtown this Fall! MOCAH was recognized in the Spring 2012 for recruiting record numbers of active volunteers through the festival's new online system and we received an additional bonus to support our community-based programs.
Where Does Your Support Go?
Your volunteer support not only helps MOCAH with our ongoing programs but it also assist many other non-partners that support the festival with volunteers. Join us in helping provide youth from some of Houston's most historic and under served communities with access and exposure to the arts at a time when our schools are eliminating the arts out of the classroom.
MOCAH has a lofty goal to reach this Fall, but with YOUR help, MOCAH's Art Angels can reach this goal and beyond!
Who are MOCAH's Art Angels?
Art Angels serves to promote social wellness,through volunteerism and
creative philanthropy.
How can you help?
Volunteers at the Festival can help with anything from the Creative Zone (the childrens' arts and crafts area), to Artist Relief (meeting artists and making sure they have water, food, booth-sitting, etc.). You don't have to be a regular volunteer with MOCAH's Art Angels to help at the Festival, so invite your family, friends, co-workers - everyone - to get involved. Also, as a volunteer at the Bayou City Art Festival you will receive a free t-shirt and free admission to the festival on the day you volunteer!
When?
If you are interested in volunteering at the Bayou City Art Festival, Friday, October 12th - Sunday, October 14th, please register online promptly (see the instructions below)! If you have any questions or need help registering, please let me know.
