Call for Artist to help support San Anto Cultural Arts
San Anto Cultural Arts (SACA) is currently accepting submissions for its 2012 Huevos Rancheros Quinceañera Celebration Silent Art Auction. We are celebrating 15 years of SACA’s annual fundraiser, the Huevos Rancheros Breakfast Gala and Silent Art Auction. Approximately 60 pieces will be selected for inclusion in both the Gala Silent Art Auction and preceding Peep Show Silent Art Auction. Deadline for submission is September 14, 2012.
About San Anto Cultural Arts
San Anto Cultural Arts (SACA) is a community-based non-profit serving the needs of San Antonio’s Westside community members through two core programs: the El Placazo Community Newspaper (EPCN) and the Community Mural/Public Art Program (CMP). Through our programming, SACA promotes human and community development through community-based arts. Since 1993, SACA has created 43 murals and over 150 issues of the El Placazo Community Newspaper. All programming is free and open to the public.
Our annual Huevos Rancheros Breakfast Gala and Silent Art Auction is our largest fundraiser and money raised goes directly to our arts programs. Because this is the Huevos Rancheros’15th anniversary or “Quinceañera,” we are expecting heightened public visibility of this year’s event and are anticipating over 750 attendees. Your art contribution will help produce the most memorable and successful Huevos Rancheros Breakfast Gala yet!
