CORPUS CHRISTI 7-DAY FILM PROJECT ANNOUNCES 2012 CITY-WIDE CAST AND CREW CALL
6th Annual Filmmaking Competition’s City-Wide Search for Actors and Film Crew
Corpus Christi, TX—On June 20, 2012, all potential Coastal Bend superstars are invited to be discovered and put on the big screen in the Corpus Christi 7-Day Film Project 2012 (CC7D). CC7D is an annual, local filmmaking competition where local filmmakers have 7 days to make a short film from scratch.
Over 30 competing, local filmmakers will be present searching for cast and crew to help make their 2012 CC7D films. Everyone is welcome to attend and audition for the participating filmmakers at the CC7D 2012 Cast and Crew Call.
Attendees auditioning are strongly encouraged to bring 30 copies of a headshot and resume. Headshots do not need to be professionally created; a simple shot of the attendees head and shoulders is fine. Actors’ resumes should include all applicable acting experience.
CC7D Organizers will also unveil exciting changes to this year’s CC7D competition at the 2012 Cast and Crew Call.
The 2012 Official 7-Day filming period is July 11-18, 2012. Hundreds of people will participate as 50+ films are shot all over the Coastal Bend. The completed films will be screened at Harbor Playhouse on August 25, 2012. The top films win awards and thousands of dollars in cash prizes.
CC7D is Corpus Christi’s premiere annual filmmaking event and grows every year.
