Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty announces a Juried Competition with a “South Texas in Pictures” theme for 2012. All photographers are called upon to make online submissions with the winner’s photography being showcased throughout the Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty 40th Anniversary marketing for the year 2012.
In addition they will also have a ‘Featured Artist’ page to highlight their winning submission with a small gallery dedicated to their portfolio of their other art pieces during the campaign that is using their images. The marketing campaign materials will give credit to the photographer with their name and contact information, including their website or online gallery.
Winners of the “South Texas in Pictures 2012” will be honored at a group exhibition showcasing work from your portfolio at a major Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty event. [date and time to be set later]
The theme for the art competition is “South Texas in Pictures 2012” and the submission process will take place throughout 2012.
Request entry forms at media@kuperspthebys.com please place in the subject line: South Texas in Pictures 2012. Once we receive your email request you will be sent the entry form and access to an account to upload your submissions or mail them.

There is no cost for submissions and no limits to the number of entries per entrant. Entrants acknowledge that the all submissions fall under the creative commons attribution 3.0 unported license giving Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty the ability to share, remix and make commercial use of the work.
Artist Requirements for Submission:
1.Creativity & Ability to capture the “South Texas in Pictures 2012” theme
2.All submissions have to be high resolution [example: 3600x2400 @ 300dpi = 12\"x8\" print = est. 24 MB]
3.Files must be in jpeg format
4.Submitting all material by the published deadline, December 31, 2011
5.All work to be labeled as follows: Title of work_Artist full name
6.All Artists must submit an Artist Statement: this refers to a statement describing your work.
7.All Artists must submit an Artist Biography: this is a short statement about the artist.
Open To: Professional, non-professional/amateur and student photographers 18 or older.
Theme: “South Texas in Pictures 2012”
We are looking for unique photography that does not simply document the area but truly shows it vibrancy and lifestyle. South Texas has characteristic of a sprawling western country and fast growing urban center with its mulit-cultural heritage, military influences and placement as the heart of Texas. We are looking for submissions that show not only the landscapes diversity but the diversity and charisma of its people with skill and style.

For the upcoming June 25th deadline the theme is \"Texas Patriotic\" to celebrate the 4th of July. But remember this is a yearlong competition to celebrate our 40th Anniversary and we will be accepting submissions throughout the year!
