Exit Through the Coffee Shop -- All night art making!
For many artists, late night and early morning hours are when the magic happens! This “art-in, lock-in” will provide the exciting opportunity to work all night under very open direction.
This experimental work period will include working with the materials of your choice in the methods of your choice. All of the classrooms will be available for creating and if desired, collaborating. Live models will be available for participants interested in life drawing and painting. Additionally, art-related films will be screened in one of the galleries on an on-going basis throughout the evening.
For the lock-in, the doors of Art League Houston will lock at 9pm (with all participants inside) and reopen the next morning at 7am. This event is B.Y.O.B. and B.Y.O.M. (bring your own materials).
Cost is $40. This includes model fees and food. This event is open to both members and non-members of Art League Houston.
