Writer in search of a lady Illustrator for Graphic Novels/Comic Books
I'm am in search of a lady illustrator or graphic artist who would like to start a few comic books and maybe our own anthology.
I can draw but let me be serious...I'm lazy.
So I have all the content and need a great cooperative artist who has they're own flair and likes to be experimental.
I'm also open to letting you help me create stories and characters or maybe you have characters but no story.
I am the self proclaimed future storymaster and would love a fun collaboration. I am also very sarcastic at times.
Also if you have knowledge of book binding that would be stellar.
This is my life dream and I would like to work with someone who really wants to make great new age comics and graphic novels for all that is radical.
I'll be able to pay you 25-70 bucks per story we finish. (Depending on how long the story may be) Keep in mind we will be a start -up productions so I wont have much money to give but will help as much as possibly to get you money for our projects.
I plan on be mostly lo-fi, like binding and selling our own books. If we make enough comics I will pay to get us booths at conventions.
What I would like from you:
Clear work with tones and values.
You can either illustrate on paper
or Design on Photoshop or Illustrator
I do not care what type of mediums you use (newsprint, ink, computer, etc)
I just need you to illustrate the story
A little about myself
I'm "still" an undergraduate art student. Now transferring to UHD. I went to school in Chicago for Studios Arts and I was just attending the art institute for Animation. Now I'll be just Fine Art's. I'm 21 and i've only been living in Houston for one and half years. I am a lady which is why I am asking to work with another lady because working too closely with a male could make my boyfriend upset. So sorry guys! I love experimental art of all kinds and I don't mind working a small budget for creative solutions.
Email me at the address listed with this info(Some of this is just me being silly):
Also attach 2 to however many pictures showing your work. The more the merrier! You can also send a picture of yourself but thats no biggie. Links to works and websites are great too.
You can also email me asking any questions you like.
Thanks for reading all this!
