The Fine Art of Summer Camp 2012
The Art Museum of South Texas in Corpus Christi is offering several all-day Art Camps from June - August for ages 5-12 yrs old. Each camp consists of an art and drama portion splitting the day where students are encouraged to explore all aspects of creative expression. They can also draw inspiration and new ideas from the Museum's current exhibitions and collections. The camps range from Drawing and Creative Drama, Painting & Pantomime, Watercolor and Movement, Printmaking & Improvisation, Sculpture & Creative Drama and an Advanced Clay camp geared for 8 years and up to develop time on a potter's wheel. Every camp is taught by local artists that have ample experience working in a variety of art mediums along with respective degrees in the arts.
