The Teen Workshops are a series of classes for teen artists ages 13-17 who want to go beyond the basics with alternative processes, special materials and innovative techniques. Each class will include a field trip to local exhibitions or artist studios to experience the dynamic Austin art community, and view contemporary art first hand. The goal of these classes is to introduce a wide range of art making practices to expand and question ideas about art.
Summer 1: Painting and Drawing Out of Bounds Wednesdays 9 AM - 5 PM, June 6 - July 11, $208/ 5 classes (No class July 4)
Summer 2: Sculptural Mixed Media Wednesdays 9 AM - 5 PM, July 18 - August 22, $249/ 6 classes
