ArtBurst: A West Dallas Community Event

Free and open to the public.

An Official Bridge-O-Rama Event, ArtBurst is designed with the
children of West Dallas in mind, embedding a part of this
weekend's celebrations directly within the community of West
Dallas. The event will consist of participants from the Meadows
Community including students and faculty from the Division of
Art, Dance, Theatre, and Music who will engage children in a wide
variety of art and cultural activities. Organizers for the event
have been working with residents of West Dallas to assure that
the activities taking place during ArtBurst hold resonance with
the members of the community.

Please come out an join us for Bridge-O-Rama and the festivities
taking place in celebration of the opening of the Margaret Hunt
Hill Bridge.

ArtBurst is an event organized by several institutions including
Meadows Division of Art, the West Dallas Community Centers, La
Bajada Neighborhood Association, Big Thought, and students
enrolled in directed studies course, Art as Social Practice.
