Continuum Presents: KALI

Houston's performance art collective, Continuum, will present a multi-faceted experience entitled KALI, named after the goddess of change and destruction. It will explore the painfully destructive nature of passion that inevitably evokes change. It will be a visually, mentally and sensually engaging experience, aimed at giving participants a truly unique emotional adventure in anticipation of Valentine's Day.

Participating artsts include:
Daniel-Kayne, Koomah, Jonatan Lopez, Tina McPherson, Joy Moore, Raindawg, Hillary Scullane, Stephanie Saint Sanchez, Rowdy Tidwell, Y.E. Torres, John Pitale, Julia Wallace, and Sway Youngston.

Tickets are $7.

Love's In Fashion: Tootsie's One Year Anniversary Party & Fashion Show benefiting Orange Show Center for Visionary Art

In celebration of their one year anniversary at the new location in West Ave, Tootsie's has graciously put together a Valentine's themed fundraiser that will benefit the Orange Show! Join some of Houston's most fashionable couples for an evening of sensuous delights! Catch a peek of the latest fashions brought to you by Tootsie's, Rye 51 and Q Custom Clothier and enjoy speciality cocktails and signature bites courtesy of Katsuya by S+arck.

Tickets are $50 for individuals, $100 for couples.

Fat Tuesday Auction & Bash at Lewis and Maese

Interested in picking up some exciting and unique antiques and piece of art at prices that won't break the bank - AND helping out your favorite arts organization? Then join us Tuesday February 21st for a spectacular Fat Tuesday auction & bash hosted by our friends at Lewis & Maese Antiques and Auctions, located at 1505 Sawyer St - with proceeds from the auction being donated to the Orange Show!

Art by Orange Show favorite and Art Car artist Mark "Scrapdaddy" Bradford will be up for auction, as well as a host of items from other great artists and designers.

Guests will enjoy cajun-themed bites, King Cakes from Whole Foods, and beer samplings courtesy of Saint Arnold Brewery.
