Help Make Art - A Voice for the Border
At the Art League Houston we are very excited to offer Texas-based artist Rigoberto Gonzalez an exhibition opportunity for March 2012 to present his Baroque-inspired paintings series called Baroque on the Border, which explore contemporary issues affecting the Texas-Mexico border region.
In order to make this powerful exhibition happen in Houston, his paintings need to be trucked approximately 792 miles from Las Cruces, New Mexico. It will take $2,000 in gas, drivers and insurance to move the work.
