Education Studio Intern - Blue Star Contemporary Art Center (San Antonio, TX)
Blue Star Contemporary Art Center is looking for undergraduate students interested in gaining experience in a non-profit/art center environment. This internship is offered at three periods throughout the year; Fall, Winter/Spring and Summer. This is a non-paid internship.

Responsibilities include:
• Assisting with Blue Star’s MOSAIC After-school Education program
Qualifications
This internship is designed for current undergraduate students. Studio Art and Art Education fields preferred. This highly visible position requires outstanding verbal communication skills. Candidates should possess knowledge of business protocol; excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; and a proven track record of prioritizing and completing multiple assignments.
Other qualifications include:
•Interest and experience working with high school youth (ages 14-18)
•Intermediate to advanced painting (acrylic and oil), drawing, and ceramics experience
•Working knowledge of basic visual art elements
•Flexible schedule, availability between 4:00 – 7:30 pm at least two days a week (M-F)
