Membership & Outreach Intern - Blue Star Contemporary Art Center (San Antonio, TX)
Blue Star Contemporary Art Center is looking for undergraduate students interested in gaining experience in a non-profit/art center environment. This internship is offered at three periods throughout the year; Fall, Spring and Summer. This is a non-paid internship.

Job Duties
Responsibilities include:
•Assisting in the management of membership accounts, including interfacing with members
•Greeting and assisting gallery visitors
•Attending and assisting with education and community events
•Assisting in creation and editing of newsletters or special gallery publications
•Working to ensure that our membership and the community is aware of Blue Star’s activities
•Assisting with filing, copying and other clerical tasks
Qualifications
This internship is designed for current undergraduate students. Junior/Senior level preferred. Public Relations, Communications, Non-profit Management, Studio Art and Art History fields are preferred. This highly visible position requires outstanding verbal and written communications skills. Candidates should possess knowledge of business protocol; excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; and a proven track record of prioritizing and completing multiple assignments.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required; familiarity with Mac OSX is a plus.
