MEET HOUSTON ARTISTS
HELP ART LEAGUE CHECK-IN ARTWORK
Art League Houston is excited to announce its Gambol time again!
Gambol is Art League Houston's second annual juried member exhibition, which seeks innovative and contemporary artwork from artists who have a ALH membership. This year the work will be selected by acclaimed Texas artist Mary McCleary, who received Art League Houston's 2011 Texas Artist of the Year Award. Selected works will be featured in an exhibition in both gallery spaces at Art League. Three cash prizes will be awarded and announced on opening night.
Last year Art League Houston received a whopping 500 artwork submissions, out of which sixty pieces were selected for the exhibition. This year we are expecting more submissions and will be looking for volunteers to help us check-in artwork, and verify Art League Houston memberships.

Monday ........... November 14 ......... 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Tuesday ........... November 15 ......... 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Wednesday ........... November 16 ....... 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Thursday ........... November 17 ......... 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Friday ........... November 18 ........... 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
In addition to an awesome behind-the-scene look at Gambol, volunteers
will have the opportunity to meet and greet a wide selection of exciting artists as they drop off their art. Lunch will be provided for volunteers who work a minimum of four hours.
