Fall 2011 Classes at Atelier 3-D
Come join us for these exciting hands-on classes available to all skill levels at Atelier 3-D!
Tuesday is for The Figure, Create one large piece during our Afternoon 6-weeks with one pose for the whole 18-hour session or join us for our Evening class in The Human Details. Learn the details of Faces, Hands & Feet during this 6-week session.
Wednesday is Aluminum Assemblage, fabricate your dream sculpture in recycled aluminum, lean to use all the hand and power tools needed to create anything from anything, anywhere.
Thursday is your chance to learn how to Make Basic Molds, from plaster to urethane and the steps in-between. Clay, plastics, wax and resins will be discussed and used.
A Special Hands-In-Clay 3-hour introduction class is available Thursday evening, Nov. 3rd, come play in the clay, make a vase, some cups or a ceramic sculpture.
Bronze Casting class begins Nov. 10th. Learn lost-wax casting, from your original to the finished bronze sculpture, all in this 6-weeks class.

Atelier 3-D is located in the heart of a thriving art community at 701 Tillery St, in studio A-12, Austin, Texas 78702. This 2000 sq. ft., air-conditioned sculpture facility boasts a foundry, kilns, tools, worktables and space suitable for creating sculpture in wood, stone, metals and all molding processes, as well as the only “hands-on” bronze casting in Austin.
