Fall 2011 Classes at Art League Houston
Art League Houston is now registering for Fall 2011 art classes.
Founded in 1968, the Art League Studio School offers a variety of affordable art classes for adults of any skill level. Classes are usually three hours in length and are offered throughout the week at convenient times (day and evening) and on Saturdays. Students can choose from several classes in jewelry making, painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, and watercolor. Art League Houston memberships start at $35 a year and can be purchased at the time of registration.
Many students join ALH to receive reduced tuition rates. In addition to discounts on classes, members are eligible to participate in the annual juried member exhibition and the ALH Members Only groups. These groups include the Open Figure Studio, where members can draw or paint from a live model, and the Plein Air Painting Group, an informal gathering of ALH members who meet on location to draw or paint outdoors. Students can register by calling 713-523-9530, faxing a registration form to 713-523-4053, or mailing a form to 1953 Montrose Blvd, Houston, TX 77006.
