Hot Glass Houston, a Bullseye Glass Kiln Glass Resource Center and Preferred Partner, is hosting Made In Glass 2011 on Saturday, September 10, 2011, from 10:00am to 4:00pm at their studio in Tomball, TX. Come meet the artists and crafters in person and see their creations made in Bullseye Glass.

This free showcase event features the glass creations of local Texas artists. Unlike blown glass which requires very high temperature furnaces, kiln formed glass is made by manipulating sheets and other forms of glass in electric kilns to create fine art as well as functional and fun craft pieces.

This is a fantastic opportunity for folks to learn about this amazing, beautiful and breathtaking art that is being created from glass as well as a great opportunity to meet the local artists and crafters working in this amazing medium.

Visitors may also purchase these works directly from the artists. The glass will range from affordable fun and functional pieces to fine art and from jewelry and tableware to high end vessels and sculptures.
