Celebrate the arts with free admission all day Saturday, July 26, 2014
What The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, offers free
general admission for Museum Experience Day,
along with Zone 3 neighbors the Jung Center of
Houston and the Contemporary Arts Museum
Houston. This quarterly event, coordinated by the
Houston Museum District, features four walkable
“zones” to help visitors navigate through the area
and learn more about all 20 museums in a more
personal way. On the last Saturday of January, April,
July and September, each zone showcases a handful
of museums at a time, complete with special
programming, food trucks, and more.
SmileBooth will be on-site capturing your favorite
moments of your experience with the Museum’s
latest installation Soto: The Houston Penetrable.

Activities 10am – 7pm: Free general admission to The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston all day!

10am – 2pm: Free “Art Improv” family art-making activities in the Beck building
including a Prince and Princess theme in conjunction with Houghton Hall: Portrait of
an English Country House, and featuring face painting. Visitors of all ages are also
invited to sketch a favorite work of art in the galleries or visit the studio to create their
