King County, WA + Health Care Window Treatments
4Culture working in partnership with King County Public Health and Harborview Medical Center is seeking four artists to create original digital artwork as designs for vinyl film window treatments. This is a unique opportunity for artists wanting to gain experience in the public art field. Applicants do not have to show previous public art project experience. The 4Culture Project Manager will be able to help artists new to public art practice to understand the design review process and how to present ideas effectively, how to work with a "client," and how to transition studio-based artwork and concepts into design for public space. Selected artists will be responsible for creating digital files that meet the technical requirements described by the window film vendor. 4Culture will hire the fabrication vendor and supervise the production and installation of the window film.

Kingston, RI + University of Rhode Island
Artwork for the University of Rhode Island’s Center For Chemical and Forensic Sciences, (CCFS), and the Center For Biotechnology and Life Sciences, (CBLS), will be commissioned by the Rhode Island State Council On the Arts, (RISCA), through Rhode Island's Public Art Law, which mandates that 1% of all state capital construction and renovation funds be allocated to the purchase and maintenance of public art. Through this program the State recognizes that "public art creates a more humane environment: one of distinction, enjoyment, and pride for all citizens."

Des Moines, IA + Artist Roster
The Iowa Arts Council (IAC), a division of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs, invites eligible artists and artist teams to submit qualifications for inclusion in the Iowa Art in State Buildings Program Artist Roster (Roster). The Roster will be referred to in selecting artists to create site-specific and/or integrated public works of art for state universities and agencies impacted by Iowa's Art in State Buildings (percent for art) law. Upon approval by the Iowa Arts Council, the Roster will remain in effect for three years. Artists selected for the Roster will be notified prior to being placed into consideration for specific projects.
Eligibility: Open to qualified artists 18+ residing in the US.
