C.S.A. subscribers join Fresh Arts staff and the C.S.A. artists for an afternoon of art, conversation, and fun
at the first Community Supported Art Pick-up Party.
Fresh Arts is excited to bring Houston a new and unique way to buy original artwork and support the local
art scene. Last fall, nine selected artists were commissioned by Fresh Arts to create 50 original works of art,
which will be bundled and sold as ‘shares’. In other words, 50 lucky patrons will enjoy an affordable
sampling of artwork from nine of the most exciting artists working in our community.

Winter Holiday Art Market (WHAM) open artist call

"Fresh Arts is seeking submissions of original artwork, craft, and hand-made goods for its juried 2013 Winter Holiday Art Market. Each fall, Fresh Arts hosts the annual Winter Holiday Art Market (WHAM) at Winter Street Studios. This three-day exhibition, sale, and art festival has become an important sales and exposure opportunity for Houston-area artists. The total average sale per artist last fall was over $2,000! WHAM is a juried market that features over 60 local artists representing a wide variety of arts and crafts, including painting, prints, sculpture, photography, jewelry, clothing and fabric arts, soaps, and other hand-crafted items.
