PROSPECTUS

2014 Juror – Mark “Scrapdaddy” Bradford
Mark Bradford (Scrapdaddy), a Houstonian for the past thirty-nine years, has had quite a diverse career in art. Having a great-grandfather that was an inventor, Mark caught the “creativity bug” at a very early age.

Mark delves into many mediums of sculpture, such as metal, concrete, and chainsaw art, allowing his creations to truly be one of a kind. His main source of inspiration is the joy he evokes from both children and adults, when witnessing his many different pieces.

Mark has traveled all over the world, and through these travels, he has been fortunate enough to find continuous sources of inspiration. His work is featured throughout North and South America, as well as Europe. He has participated in several television shows, that include “Battle Bots”, “Junkyard Wars”,”Guinness Primetime Live” and even hosted two shows for the History Channel entitled “Scrapyard Scavengers.” Mark has also performed twice with two different creations of his at the Essen Show in Germany. He has been featured in the “Smithsonian Magazine” and “002″, and is regularly featured in newscasts and newspapers. Mark’s work has also recently been showcased in two solo exhibitions at the Art Car Museum, in Houston, TX, as well as the Beeville Museum of Art, in Beeville, TX.
