The MAC's Three New Exhibitions
The MAC soon will be presenting Lilian Garcia Roig’s exhibition "Sight-Specific", a selection of large-scale paintings that depict the dense forest landscapes from Florida, Texas and Georgia to the Cascades Mountains in Washington State. David Graeve’s combination of film, photography, sculpture, and time-based action performance will be documented and projected through large balloons overtaking the Square Gallery. In the New Works Space, the inaugural MAC PAC sponsored exhibition features Tony Orrico’s "Waning". The opening reception will be on Saturday, September 14 from 6:00 to 8:00pm, with all artists in attendance. An informal art talk with Lilian Garcia-Roig will begin at 5:30, as well as a 45 minute performance by Tony Orrico beginning at 6:30pm. These exhibits will be on view through October 26.
