Disembodied Text: Online Zine/Online Gallery seeking submissions
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS The Disembodied Artist.
For those of us who pursue art and hope to one day have it be our main source of financial support, what does it look like to be an artist and to have to work another job to pay the bills?
If you are interested in being featured in this issue, message the page directly or email email@example.com with your submission. Please answer the following questions with your submission:
1. What kind of art do you create?
2. What do you do to pay the bills?
3. Does your current job in any way play into your artistic endeavors?
4. How do you balance the time between your artistic endeavors and your current job?
5. How do you mentally keep going in pursuing your art while working a job that is not related to your art?
About Disembodied Text:
Disembodied Text is an online journal which specializes in experimental/progressive visual, auditory, and literary art. We consider our journal to be an online gallery space where texts are ‘disembodied’ from their original contexts, and given a new environment in which they can interact with and inform other pieces or art.
New issues of the journal appear every Monday, and each issue is edited by one of our contributing editors, or by featured guest editors.
Every issue includes a variety of artistic expressions exhibited together on our infinitely stretching gallery wall. We hope that the journal gives the reader the impression of visiting a unique and small gallery space, where thematic artistic pieces interact to provide a unique digital viewing experience.
