Do you enjoy building things? Interested in non-profit management? Interested in the behind the scenes operations of an art museum? The UMLAUF is seeking an ambitious Museum Operations Interns to join our team this summer.
Museum Operations Intern at the UMLAUF will provide support in the daily maintenance of the museum and garden. This internship provides a unique experience to provide support to the growth of a non-profit art organization.
Maintain the garden and gallery
Assist with technology infrastructure of museum
Assist with collection management
Assist with deliveries and inventory
Add vendor files to database
• Positive, professional, and friendly attitude
• Self-starter with ability to work independently or with others
• Knowledge of best practices in museums
• Very careful with details
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• High level of computer and technology skills
ABOUT the UMLAUF:
The Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum uses its collection of sculptures, paintings, and drawings by 20th century American sculptor Charles Umlauf, to provide educational programs and experiences that encourage the understanding and appreciation of sculpture.
