Beginner's Upholstery Class - Houston
Bring your own chair and fabric and we will teach you the upholstery techniques to rehab your piece. Your chair must be pre-approved prior to class for level of difficulty; open armed side chairs are best for this beginner‘s class (the chairs pictured here are great examples). You’ll learn how to remove the old fabric, determine fabric yardage, make repairs, tie springs (if necessary) and reupholster. Learn how to use basic upholstery tools for professional results. Price of $265 includes use of all tools, sewing machines and materials supplies (Dacron, buttons, staples, cotton batting, twine, webbing, and more). A total of 12 hours of hands-on upholstery instruction!
