Classes are perfect for beginners who have never held a brush before, up to intermediate students looking to further their practice with concept, glazing techniques, color theory and paint application methods.

Classes run in 20-hour sessions. $300, plus $40 material fee

Laura Spector is a practicing artist who has been teaching painting classes since 2004, when she co-founded ArtSpace, a community arts and performance space in Northern Thailand. She has taught hundreds of students from around the world, many have gone on to have group and solo art exhibitions. She now brings her experience of painting, easy-to-understand direction, and supportive teaching style to Houston, and invites you to attend classes inside of her own painting studio.
