Dallas Gallery Intern
Cris Worley Fine Arts is currently looking for an unpaid gallery intern. The position will require the intern work on Wednesdays to start, with a couple of training sessions scheduled between Thursday – Saturday. There will be the potential to assist with the Dallas Art Fair in April, as well as a potential for expanded hours/days beginning in May and into the summer.
We are seeking someone to assist with all aspects of the gallery’s day-to-day operations. Responsibilities could include: exhibition preparation, archiving press materials, office organization, updating the website, some database entry, basic art handling, installation, gallery maintenance, photographing artwork and exhibitions, and running errands.
Required Qualifications:
Major in Studio Art or Art History
Photography Experience
Ability to work independently, be organized, and be comfortable interacting with clients
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with exhibition installation and art handling
Ability to bring a laptop to the gallery
Experience using Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and with Apple operating systems
SCHEDULE: This is a part-time position. We currently need someone to work Wednesdays from 11am-5pm, however the hours can be adjusted.
