Title: Houston Mother’s Art Show: Perspective of a Mother
Call for Entry: An Evening Celebrating Mother's as Artists
Date: April 13th, 2013
Location: Boni’s Dance and Performing Arts Studio
Come join us in celebrating women who are both mothers and artists.
This event will take place for one evening of art viewing and live
performances and all local mothers in the arts are encouraged to apply
and attend the event. Submissions will be accepted for both
professional and amateur artists. All mediums including, pottery,
drawing, glass, printmaking, painting, jewelry, 2D, 3D and
photography. The evening will also include live performances and
dancers, vocal performers and musicians are also encouraged to apply. Performances length must be less than 5 mins.
2D work must be able to be hung on a wall to be considered. 2D work
should be no larger that 4' wide. Each artist may submit up to 2
works for consideration. For 3D, one large work and for small 3D, you may submit more and amount will be considered case by case.
