HCC Central Art’s 2012 Fall Juried Student Art Exhibit
Central Art is pleased to announce that Sixto Wagan, artistic director of DiverseWorks, is the juror for Central Art’s 2012 Fall Juried Student Art Exhibit, which will run in Central’s Gallery November 20 through December 4. Wagan and the art faculty will choose outstanding student work in various media, such as painting, digital art, jewelry and sculpture, for awards totaling $1000 in gift cards supplied by CAB. Those awards will be announced at the reception for the exhibit on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 6pm – 8pm. Sixto Wagan is both a distinguished artist and a new neighbor. DiverseWorks, one of the leading contemporary art centers in the United States, recently moved into new quarters at 4102 Fannin, just few blocks from Central campus.
