Pastelegram and brand 10/and X are please to present (Re)Collection: Lakes Were Rivers re-envisions images from the Harry Ransom Archive—an exhibition by the Austin-based collective, Lakes Were Rivers. The exhibition opens November 3rd and runs until December 8th, 2012. On November 3rd, there will be a free exhibition preview from 5—6:30 pm; then from 8 pm until 11 pm, the exhibition’s opening reception will benefit the Austin-based art publication, Pastelegram, and will include a performance by Lakes Were Rivers member Barry Stone, an auction featuring artworks, music, free drinks, door prizes, and a taco truck. Please bring cash for tacos and a $10 cover charge to benefit Pastelegram; please bring your checkbook for the auction.
