Too Many Performance Art Choices in Austin

Image via Co-Lab Projects

Tonight, October 20, art lovers in Austin have too many options for one-time events. Co-Lab Projects will feature performances by Chris Carlone and Sandy Smiles (Frank Haines) from 8-10pm. Café Crème will present Carl Smith’s Soundpics, a “music and art show” from 8-11pm. The Austin Film Society Screening Room (AFS) will host a screening of Ai Weiwei’s HUMAN FLOW at 7:30pm. The film documents the global refugee crisis, following people’s stories in Afghanistan, France, Greece, Germany, and Iraq.

It seems to be the season of tons of art events in Austin, so check these organizations’ web sites for upcoming performances and screenings.
