Relief for Kids (and Parents) After Harvey

Houston ISD has announced that they are postponing their opening day for another week, back to September 11th. This means that thousands of Houston parents who were planning to go back to work next week are wondering what to do for another unexpected week of summer vacation.

Art classes for kids. Free for children who show proof of free-lunch certificates or whose homes have flooded. All others will be registered at a reduced rate for $120 for the four days of two hour-classes.

Note: In the following weeks we will offer classes from 3:30 to 4:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 11 to noon on Saturday. For the month of September, we will accept children who show proof of free-lunch certificates or whose homes have flooded at no charge.
