Lawndale Live is a live show filmed weekly in front of a studio audience at Lawndale Art Center. Lawndale Live is directed by Phillip Pyle, II and hosted by Maurice Duhon, Jr.; Stephen Wilson serves as set designer and Jawwaad Taylor as music director.”

3. Jeff Shore and Jon Fisher: Clockworks

An exhibition of self-contained sculptural mechanisms by artists Jeff Shore and Jon Fisher. “These animated works subvert the traditional function of the clock mechanism, to keep real-time and in a related fashion, viewers reflect on the passage of time, the experience of moving images, and the present moment.”

It’s the 15th installation of Ulterior Motifs! This iteration of the show will celebrate the grand re-opening and 40th year anniversary of the 12,000 square feet studio of sculptor James Surls’ historic Splendora Gardens in Splendora, Texas.
