Dallas’ CentralTrak Artists’ Residency and Gallery holds a monthly lecture series called “Next Topic” on various ideas meant to foster critical discussion in the community. The last topic of the year will be feminism and art, addressing the usual questions such as “Are we still having this conversation?” The answer to that one is yes, and the guest speakers should present some provocative new slants on the discussion, held in conjunction with CentralTrak’s current exhibition Sadie Hawkins.

Joining the exhibition curator Leigh Arnold will be educator Shilyh Warren and visual artist and poet Rosemary Meza-DesPlas. The talk is on Wednesday, February 5 at 7 pm.
