I’d like to share an update: the Memorial for Cholla was wonderful, full of her spirit of light. It was the most memorable memorial I ever attended.
Cholla impact on Houston was immense. The children’s portraits, for several generations, her Christmas Cards for Houston Zoo, her students, of which became her’s and Van’s Love Children.
I was one of those. Her lessons changed my life, I she took me by the hand, from the Art League to Texas Art Supply, and like I was a little girl. Because of Cholla, I grew, I faced fear, I fought my dragons.
Let’s keep her stories alive!
