Hurry! Bayou City Art Festival Wants High School Artists by Friday!

by Bill Davenport February 7, 2012

One highlight of the Bayou City Art Festival in Houston’s Memorial Park is the exhibition of outdoor installations by area high school students scattered among the trees and lawns near the sausage-on-a-stick pits. The Festival is inviting currently enrolled high school students to submit art installation proposals for next March’s event by Friday, February 10, 2012.  Ten selected proposals will each receive $200  for materials and construction, and will be displayed at the Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park, March 23 – 25, 2012. Cash prizes for the top three entries!
