Texas photographers Peter Brown, Al Rendon, UTSA President Ricardo Romo (an avid photographer), Joel Salcido and Ansen Seale, along with curators Arturo Infante Almeida and Rex Hausmann, will travel to Lishui City in the Zhezhiang province of China, Nov. 2-10 for the opening of “Infinite Horizon: Visions of Texas,” one part of the massive 14th annual China International Photographic Art Exhibition.
The exchange is ongoing: in 2010, photos from Romo’s series “Small Town Texas,” were featured China’s premier photography magazine, Popular Photography, after Zhongyuan Chen, its chief editor, saw Romo’s work while visiting San Antonio.
