Blaffer Blastoff!, the blog that the UH university museum is using to replace this year’s programming as it undergoes massive renovation, is dangling a new iPad (with a picture of a carrot) as incentive to sign up for an email subscription. The new blog will feature updates on the construction, much like the entertaining 39-part Arthouse construction diary “The Renovation According to Forrest Preece” that tracked the Austin org’s metamorphosis from unfinished and vital to over-designed and struggling. They’ll also “share stories of Blaffer’s history, interviews with everyone involved in the renovation, information about programming while we’re closed, and much more!”
