Greener than art: TXU Energy Windmill Blade Dedication Ceremony at IMAS

Tomorrow, June 7, The International Museum of Art & Science, will hold a dedication ceremony for the giant wind turbine blade parked (next to the Olmec Head) on it’s lawn. The blade, donated by TXU Energy last year, is ideal for IMAS: while symbolic of green energy technology, the sleek out-sized object also resembles modern art (“whale in space”). RSVP for the ceremony, which begins at 10:30 sharp to IMAS marketing officer Michelle Rowe at mrowe@imasonline.org.
