The Owl and the Orange Show

by Bill Davenport April 22, 2011

You know it’s the first day of Summer when Houston’s Orange Show holds it annual Easter Orange Hunt and Season opening party. That’s this Saturday, April 23, from 10-1. Kids and other greedy scavengers can run wild through every nook and cranny of Jeff McKissack’s folk art monument for hidden eggs, treats, and oranges (BYOB, bring your own basket) followed by a ceremonial blessing by Danza Azteca Teokalli de Houston and an original puppet show done by the School of the Woods called “The Owl and the Orange Show.” FREE, but donations are appreciated.
