Bill Lassiter awarded

Houston artworld fixture Bill Lassiter has won the Henry K. Roos Award for being the Museum of Fine Arts Houston’s “volunteer of the year” in 2011. Active as a collector since the 50’s, Lassiter was interviewed by Sally Reynolds in 2006 for her collection of Houston art historical profiles.

  1. But of course, Bill would/should receive accolades aplenty for his on-going contributions to museums, and many and other art venues, public and private, AND the encouragement, through acquisition, for so very many artists. Bill Lassiter is a REAL participating collector.
