The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston is launching contemporary@MFAH, a patron group dedicated to promoting contemporary art projects at the MFAH, in concert with plans to construct a new modern and contemporary art building. It will start right in "raising awareness about how the MFAH mirrors the ongoing, vital commitment to contemporary art that makes Houston one of this nation’s foremost incubators for new talent" with a lecture by Alison De Lima Greene and a reception tonight, Thursday, January 27, at 6:30pm in Caroline Wiess Law Building, 1001 Bissonnet St.
