Lauster gets Mitchell award

UTA prof Darryl Lauster was awarded $25,000 from the Joan Mitchell Foundation as one of twenty-five 2010 grantees. Lauster lays out thew whole business of being a contemporary conceptual artistin an interview on the UTA liberal arts blog. Lauster has been busy with his ongoing fictional web project, the Samuel Gray Society and a commissioned project recently featured at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
