Gulf Print Storm Brewing

The Dishman Art Museum at Lamar University in Beaumont will host The Gulf Print Storm, beginning November 15. The "printmaking extravaganza" is designed to promote the practice of fine-art printmaking, through exhibitions, demonstrations, lectures and live printing events. Xenia Fedorchenko, assistant professor and guest curator for the vent hopes it will become a triennial. The Dirty Printmakers of America will put on live printing events; Steam Roller Madness on Crockett St. in Beaumont will feature a real steam roller; and the Ink Slingers Ball at the Beaumont Art League round out a week of printmaking fun!
